The first annual EdTechTeam London Professional Development Workshop featuring Google for Education
to be held in the heart of London at the Halcyon London International School
on October 20, 2014.
Located near Marble Arch, just steps from Oxford Street, Halcyon is the only not-for-profit, co-educational, exclusively International Baccalaureate school in central London. The purpose-built school is newly-refurbished and close to London’s most famous outdoor space – Hyde Park.
Halcyon is a digitally-progressive school, bringing a new standard of life-readying education to one of the most culturally diverse, academically rich and historically important cities in the world: a perfect match for the London Summit!

Located within Portman Village, Halcyon is set within a thriving boutique shopping and eating scene with a range of cuisine on offer including Spanish, French, Italian and Northern Indian all within a minute’s walk. Adjacent Edgware Road introduces Turkish and Lebanese influences with authentic cafes and bistros lining the streets.

Leading off from Edgware Road is Hyde Park offering beautiful walks and excursions including the Serpentine (a recreational lake) and the Italian Gardens (a 150 year old ornamental water garden). Oxford Street is a mere five-minute walk from Halcyon: perfect for a leisurely shopping trip.

A few stops away on the underground’s Central Line is Notting Hill Gate with links to the vibrant Portobello market selling everything from food to flowers; modern art to antiques.
